- GO-NGO Forum for Knowledge Sharing and Consultation
March 2024: The South Gondar Administrative Zone of ANRS invited Floresta Ethiopia to participate in its annual Zonal level GO-NGO Forum involving Governmental Organizations and Non-governmental Organizations (NGOs) operating in the district.
The forum was held at the Gafat Assembly Hall in Debretabor town on XXX march 2024 and attended by representatives of more than XXX from GO sectors at zonal and district levels, local and international NGOs working in the area. The objective of the event was to enable the NGOs to interact, review their performances and share lessons learned with GO authorities.
The forum was organized by in partnership and support with the CSOs including FE. It brought together representatives from diverse CSOs (Civil Society Organizations) working in the area.
Presentations were made by sector-specific NGOs around five thematic area, which were; agriculture, water and sanitation, education, health, child rights and the environment. Floresta Ethiopia made a presentation on progress of work at its field program site in the andabet district.
